Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FINAL: Build & Ex-Aid with Legend Riders

Waking up from a dream where Build steals the powers of another Kamen Rider, Sento discovers Misora has purified two new bottles, which he quickly puts to use against an odd new type of Smash, but in the heat of battle, Banjou vanishes! As Sento is confronted by an angry Parad, who claims to have been trapped in Build’s world for two years, Banjou finds himself in another world without the Sky Wall, surrounded by the Kamen Riders of CR!

      

Uncovering a sinister plot to fuse the two worlds by a former colleague of Katsuragi’s, it will require the Riders of both worlds, alongside Legend Riders of the past, to stop the apocalyptic plans of Kaisei Mogami and Foundation X to save humanity!

      

One last release before I head off on vacation! Like the Build series, we’ve got the usual Over-Time and GenmCorp subs for the film, but breaking from tradition a bit, we’ve also got a Gaim-styled Revised track! The revised track features the following:

  • Gaim belt sounds have been revised to match the revised track, matching those of the Gaim series/movie releases.
  • Ex-Aid belt sounds have been slightly tweaked in a few spots to match Excite’s translations.
  • Ex-Aid flashback dialogue has been swapped out for Excite’s translations where appropriate.

   

Effectively, the Revised track is good if you watched my Revised Gaim and Excite’s Ex-Aid, the Over-Time track is good if you prefer their Gaim terms and RTA’s Ex-Aid subs, and the GenmCorp track is the GenmCorp track (don’t take that as being a bad thing, it’s just that there’s not really anything to compare it to for Gaim and Ex-Aid’s stuff.). If you preferred certain Aesir-related aspects, like western name order and such, I’m afraid you’ll be on your own as I didn’t want to add a 4th track and 2nd hybrid. Anyway, enjoy!

Time for some more Ex-Aid! As with the series, we have both the Excite and RTA tracks, and we’ve also once again included a pre-mixed Rider Club Radio commentary featuring Jeff, Liam, Max, and Tomaz! The encode is about 15 seconds longer than the movie to accommodate the end of the commentary. Enjoy!

It’s been a long time since our last Gaim release but we’re finally back with the last major part of the story left for us to do! Just like the rest of Gaim, there are multiple sub tracks here. The base translation this time is by Scull, so big thanks go out to them, along with a hybrid track to adjust their subs to be a bit closer to Aesir’s subs (western name order, etc.), and the Revised track that brings terminology and belt calls in line with the rest of the revisions found in the series. Additionally, I’ve reworded a few lines for flow and clarity. Enjoy!

With Kai’s defeat, Ryotaro and the rest of the DenLiner crew resume their time-traveling adventures by founding a detective agency to keep any other surviving Imagin in check. But when a rogue Imagin swipes Owner’s spare Den-O Pass, it’s up to the DenLiner Police and rookie detective Kazuya, along with a little help from another Rider, to stop the evil Imagin and save the past, present, and future!

   

Time for the first post-finale Den-O film! This was the first of the Heisei Rider teamups in movies, although it’s definitely more of a Den-O film that Kiva cameos in than what the later teamups would be. This one didn’t get a director’s cut version, so just the single release here. Enjoy!

With Gaoh having stolen the DenLiner and trapping the Imagins onboard, Ryotaro and Hana find themselves trapped in the year 2000 where they meet Ryotaro’s younger self, but Ryotaro is slowly forgetting everything having to do with Den-O! As Gaoh gets closer to his target, the only hope lies with Yuuto’s complex plans and a little bit of luck, or else time itself could fall victim to Gaoh’s evil desires!

   

Time for Den-O’s first movie and we’re happy to be able to present both cuts in HD! Of course, first up is the original theatrical cut, and then we also have the “Final Cut Version” aka the extended director’s cut, both in 720p, just like the series. Kamen Rider Amazons The Movie Season 1 – Awakening

We’re returning to the Armour Zone with a special release! Included in the full movie BD Box for the Amazons finale movie are the two compilation films that recap each season, and since Toei didn’t add any new dialogue to the films, I’ve been able to transplant the subs from the series to the movie. As you can expect of a movie that condenses 13 episodes of material into an hour and forty minutes, there is a lot of cut content, but despite that, it still serves as a pretty decent recap. I’ll be working on the movie for Season 2 soon, so keep an eye out for it!

Kamen Rider & Super Sentai 3D – Playstation VR Collection

Time for a return to our 3D encodes from the past for a very particular reason. I recently picked up a Playstation VR and was happy to discover that I could use it for 3D BDs with no glasses, just the headset. Of course, while I have several 3D toku BDs, they lack subs, which doesn’t help much for actually watching them. Enter “Littlstar”, a free media app for PSVR.

 

Using Littlstar, you can load 3D MP4s onto a flash drive and play them back in proper 3D. While some of the features aren’t as robust as Sony’s own internal 3D playback (no head tracking for centering the virtual screen and no virtual surround audio), this opens the door to watching these 3D encodes through another method. Unfortunately, there are a few other limitations, mainly that softsubs are not supported, and neither is 5.1 surround audio. As a result, I’ve gone back to the original BDs and re-encoded all of our 3D releases as hardsubbed MP4s with stereo downmixes. One encode has a slight adjustment to some lyrics but otherwise, all subs are exactly as released on the 3D MKV versions.

 

More information on how to setup a flashdrive for use with Littlstar can be found HERE, but all the encodes are properly named for use with the app. You can rename them, as long as you leave the “_3dff_sbs” portion of the filename as-is. Hopefully, with the ever-expanding user base for the PSVR (especially with the holidays coming up), these encodes will be useful for some of you. Enjoy!

As a computer virus based on Pac-Man invades Japan, a group of doctors attack Genm Corp and begin a wave of terror using stolen Proto Gashats. Ghost and Ex-Aid find themselves at the center of the fight in an effort to protect those most important to them. But they aren’t alone, as Heisei Riders from the past join them to stop Dr. Pac-Man!

      

Time for yet another movie that was already done from the BD, but we’re gonna do anyway! Along with the usual EXCITE/RTA combo, we’ve also got a commentary track here, featuring Sunglass of Capes and Cool Scarves, SpecialForm12, and Smithdanigans. As usual, the commentary is mixed with the movie audio and the encode is extended by a minute or so to account for the commentary. Enjoy!

Rain falls on February 10, 1973, as Shocker is defeated by the hands of Kamen Riders 1 and 2. Riders 1 and 2 ride off with their painful struggle seemingly at an end, but they are attacked by a car mounted with machine guns and adorned with the Tachibana Racing Club. It turns out that the vehicle is manned by another Kamen Rider who identifies himself as Kamen Rider 3, who was designed to destroy Riders 1 and 2. They do battle, but Rider 3 is able to take on both of them easily by himself. Riders 1 and 2 use their Rider Double Kick, but Rider 3’s own Rider Kick destroys Riders 1 and 2, and a green shockwave covers the land, twisting the timeline…

      

Time for another Drive-related movie! Once again, this is a movie that was already released by Over-Time using a BD encode, but I had a couple of requests to include OrangeLion’s subs as well, and as always, any excuse to go back to Drive is fine with me. Plus, Over-Time recently began releasing the sequel/true ending to this movie, Kamen Rider 4, so it seemed like a good time anyway.

Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden – Kamen Rider Zangetsu

Takatora is continuing preparations of Project Ark, which would mean the salvation of humanity at the cost of numerous lives. But Takatora’s resolve in seeing this through is put in question after a conversation with Kouta. The caretaker formerly employed by the Kureshima family, Akatsuki Touka, makes an appearance before Takatore. Both are very happy to meet again, but on a depressing note as the Kureshima brothers learn that their father had passed away. At the same time, a mysterious Rider sets their sights on Mitsuzane and searching for clues, Takatora uncovers the truth of his father’s past…

Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden – Kamen Rider Baron

Kaito continues his search for the Overlords after being egged on by Ryoma. Meanwhile, the heir of a foreign country, Shapur, visits Zawame discovers that Kaito looks identical to him. Eager for some freedom, Shapur finds Kaito, sedates him and steals his clothes, then appears before the Beat Riders posing as Kaito. Kouta and the others cannot believe their eyes when they see who they believe to be Kaito dancing with a smile on his face. Meanwhile, Kaito is mistaken for Shapur and taken by Shapur’s butler Alfred. Alfred then deduces Kaito’s identity and locates Shapur’s location, tasking Oren to dispose of him…

Our last Gaim release for a while comes once again with three sub tracks. OrangeLion provides the base translation, and as always, a revised track and hybrid track are included.

  • Watermelon Lockseed is named Water Melon as on the DX toy to differentiate between the Suika/Watermelon and this one. (Revised and Aesir hybrid tracks)
