Kamen Rider Gaim The Movie: Great Soccer Battle! Golden Fruits Cup!

Kouta is taken into a new version of Zawame, where soccer teams aim to win the All Rider Cup. The reward: The golden fruit. Along with the city restored and the immense soccer popularity, he sees many things different from his world, including both Hase and Yuuya, who are still alive. Though questioning why this is happening, there is a secret about the world. A strange man named Kougane starts sending locusts to other Armored Riders, consuming them, leaving their Lockseeds intact in order to revive his Golden Lockseed. Along with a strange youth named Lapis who seems to have a relation to the new world, will the Beat Riders be able to stop him?

Time for another Gaim movie! The base for the subs here are from KiraKira’s release, along with a hybrid that changes things to be more like Aesir’s subs (less than previous films since KiraKira’s already used a lot of Aesir’s belt sounds and such), and then the overall revised track. On all three tracks, I’ve added some missing belt sounds and transformation calls, and reworded a couple of lines on the Revised track for improved clarity.

Kikaider Reboot

In order to handle the crises of a modern world, the Japanese government creates the ARK Project, which utilizes sophisticated robots to solve problems that human beings simply can’t. The project’s lead scientist, Dr. Komyoji, creates a prototype android named Jiro to peacefully assist humans. However, rival scientist Gilbert Kanzaki has other, darker plans. Mitsuko and Masaru, Komyoji’s children, become targets after his unexpected death, prompting a super android with a humanistic soul to come to their aid. Kanzaki then creates his ultimate vision, a powerful cyborg called Hakaider, destined to rule a world of ruin and chaos!

Here’s something a little outside our usual wheelhouse, but since Gaim set it up, and the US release of the movie was only put on DVD, I thought why not do a BD encode? So, here we are. These are the subs from the US DVD with some minor tweaks, such as revising the name order and some slight grammar adjustments.

Kamen Rider Ghost: The Movie – 100 Eyecons and Ghost’s Moment of Truth

After chasing the mysterious Kamen Rider Dark Ghost, who had suddenly appeared, Tenkuji Takeru arrives at a strange village full of historical figures. Attempting to gather 100 Eyecons, Alain’s dead brother Argos – Kamen Rider Dark Ghost – wishes to create the Ultimate Eyecon and turn everyone on Earth and the Ganma world into ghosts. Meanwhile, Makoto’s father Fukami Daigo is found outside the village. Transforming into Kamen Rider Zero Specter, is Daigo an ally or an enemy?

Ghost returns once more with the Summer movie. Normally, I wouldn’t bother to encode something like this since Over-Time already did it from the BD, but in this case, we’ve got not one, but two commentaries to include!

Up first, we’ve got another Rider Club Radio commentary featuring Jeff and Liam. Just like previous commentaries, I’ve mixed the movie audio with the commentary so you get the complete package in one track.

The second commentary features Sunglass of Capes and Cool Scarves, Knee of Kneescrubs, and Smithdanigans. Just like the RCR commentary, this is mixed with the movie audio, and the video runs about 20 seconds longer at the end to account for the commentary runtime.

Bent on the destruction of the human race, the secret underground organization Shocker secretly planned to plunge the world into chaos. But they didn’t count on the revolt of both of their experimentally “reconstructed” human beings, the Masked Riders. Two years after their first battle with Shocker, a 3rd Rider arises to confront them, known only as “Version 3.” The arrival of the third Masked Rider will hurl the heroes into their most terrible battle yet and the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

It’s taken a while, but we’re finally back with Blu-ray of The Next! We’re using the TV-N subs, but have used the Malay English dub to clean up some of the lines a bit. This encode also features both the theatrical and extended endings in the same file, using the Editions feature like we did on Heisei vs. Showa to include both. If you don’t have a player that supports editions, the extended ending will play approximately 5 seconds after the end of the theatrical ending.

Masked Rider The Next – English Dub Cut

Along with the subtitled version, we’ve got the Malay English Dub here. This one required a separate encode because the dub cuts a small portion out around the 13 minute mark to remove some scenes with brief nudity. It uses the theatrical ending as well.

Masked Rider The First

Takeshi Hongo is a man of extraordinary intellect, but his promising future is about to be maliciously snuffed out by and evil secret society known as Shocker. Reinvented against his will and transformed into a powerful experimental cyborg, Hongo will forever be known as Maked Rider The First. He manages to regain his self-awareness and realizes he is being controlled by evil.

Shocker brands Hongo as a traitor and is prepared to do everything in their power to destroy him, even creating a new, nearly identical cyborg named Masked Rider The Second. However, their powers are too evenly matched and Shocker decides that both Masked Riders must die in order to usher in their plans of total world dominance.

This is a revised v2 release for The First. I’ve updated the subtitle font to something a little better than Calibri (the same as what we’re using for The Next), and added the Rider Club Radio commentary track featuring Jeff and Liam. The encode has been lengthened by several seconds at the end to account for the extra length of the commentary audio.

There is a patch for those who have the v1 release. The patch includes a new customized version of the xdeltaUI that allows for compressed patches.

Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider – Kamen Rider Wars feat. Super Sentai

The Underground Empire Badan makes its move, intending to invert the world. Kouta and Mai are pulled through one of these inversions where the discover a boy named Shu, who also holds the power to invert the world. As the Riders fight to protect Shu, Fifteen appears again, seeking Shu. As Kouta flees, past Riders gather and fight one another, split between the Showa and Heisei era Riders. But, the truth of Badan is not as it seems…

It’s time for the most ambitious release of the Gaim project so far! I’m really happy with everything I’ve been able to put together with this one. Using the Editions feature, both the Heisei and Showa endings are included in this file and can be viewed seamlessly by selecting the Heisei ending (default) or Showa ending. If you are watching on a player without Editions support, there is a 20 second black screen after the Heisei ending and then the Showa ending will play.

We’ve also included the Rider Club Radio audio commentary featuring Jeff, Liam, and Tomaz. What I’ve done here is create a custom stereo mix of the movie and layered the commentary on top so that you have a perfectly synced commentary and still have the movie audio. The commentary is designed for the Heisei ending, so the commentary will abruptly cut off if you try using it with the Showa ending. The commentary was also recorded with the original Imagination Station subs, so a couple of references to certain translations will not apply to the revised subs.

Last, the subs here are a trio of the regular hybrid revised subs, a modified set that skews closer to the hybrid Over-Time and Aesir versions like what we did for ToQGer vs Gaim, and last, the original Imagination Station subs. We also used and modified 3-4 lines from TV-N’s translation of the Showa ending, although most of the lines are the same as the Heisei ending.

UPDATE 5/21/17: I’ve released a v2 patch for this release that should fix the glitches at some of the chapter breaks. While most of them were properly set to keyframes, some weren’t, which caused stuttering at times. I had to move a couple of chapter breaks to hit the nearest keyframe, but it was that or re-encode the movie in both resolutions. Moving the breaks was the smaller and faster option. DDLs have also been updated as well.

It’s been a while since we’ve done a movie release, but there were several reasons to do this one, not least of which that it was never released in HD by Over-Time. We’re releasing this where it went as far as being released during the broadcast order, although it might make slightly more sense to slot it after Episode 10 as far as plot goes. Anyway, what we’ve done here is a 3-track setup. An original Over-Time version with just the usual assorted fixes as needed, an altered version that swaps out terms for their Aesir counterparts (Pulperize, Ornac, etc.), and the revised track as we’ve done for the series with all the changes we make there.

Revision notes are as follows:

Fixed translations of lines noted in Over-Time comments (All tracks)
Altered the title of the Gaim portion to Warring States Battle Royale (Revised and Aesir-terms tracks)
Added transformation calls to battle scene with War God OOO (Revised track only)

Intercepting the transport carrying Foundation X’s new 2nd generation Gaia Memories, the special-ops unit NEVER, led by Daido Katsumi, intend to turn Fuuto into Hell on Earth. With Daido wielding the T2 Eternal Memory and a Lost Driver, granting him power in the form of Kamen Rider Eternal, Fuuto’s Kamen Riders are left powerless as Daido and his allies take control of Fuuto Tower, converting it into a massive laser weapon…

At long last, the hybrid version of the director’s cut is finished! Like the hybrid version of Movie Wars 2010 we did, the A to Z Director’s Cut was only released on DVD, so I’ve re-edited the theatrical cut BD and combined it with the additional/extended footage from the director’s cut DVD, upscaled to 720p using Adobe After Effects’ Detail-preserving Upscale plugin. So this isn’t a true HD version, but it’s the best we can do until Toei releases the director’s cut on BD.
