Part One – Beginning

After meteors fall across the globe, the Seven Legendary Riders battle numerous villain factions as members of Foundation X collect a mysterious substance that came down with the meteors.

Part Two – Kamen Rider OOO

In the aftermath of the meteorfall, a portal to the future opens and from it comes a Kamen Rider using new Core Medals. Just as it appears this future Rider cannot be stopped, Eiji and Ankh appear and fight him off, obtaining a full set of medals from within the Rider’s body. As Eiji tries to reason with this future Rider, he can’t help but wonder… just how has Ankh been brought back?

In Fuuto, Shotaro is chasing down a group of Foundation X goons carrying more of this mystery substance. While Phillip is engrossed in his research, Shotaro transforms into Kamen Rider Joker and fights off the Dopant and Greed escorts. Meanwhile, the Seven Legendary Riders have found Lem Kannagi of Foundation X, but they prove no match for his power…

Part Four – Kamen Rider Fourze

During an otherwise typical day, the Kamen Rider Club witnesses a young girl fall from the sky. After saving her, Gentarou and the others are attacked by a Zodiarts. But when Gentarou transforms, this mystery girl also transforms into a Kamen Rider! However, as they learn more about this mystery girl, they discover that she is no girl at all, but rather SOLU, the mystery substance Foundation X has been seeking, and they are after her as well!

Part Five – Movie War Mega Max

After obtaining the future Core Medals and transferring the SOLU into an Astro Switch,  Kannagi’s plans to become the Galaxy King are in full motion. As Double, OOO, and Fourze come together, they must stop Kannagi’s machinations and free the Seven Legendary Riders before it’s too late!

As the details of the case begin to unravel, Ryu is framed and Akiko believes that he may not be faithful to her. As the clock ticks down, Ryu must solve the case, clear his name, and save his marriage before everything comes to an explosive end!

Part 1 –  Kamen Rider Skull: Message for Double

Confronting a mysterious enemy, the Pteranodon Yummy, Kamen Rider Double receives aid from Ryu, who is forced to fight as himself due to his bride-to-be Akiko taking his Accel Memory and Accel Driver. No sooner did the Pteranodon Yummy fly off then Akiko arrives and is infuriated that the Kamen Riders were too occupied to go attend her wedding to the point of breaking into tears and threatening to call her wedding to Ryu off. However, Akiko is more upset that her father is not able to attend the wedding and demands to know why he even became a Kamen Rider in the first place. This attracts the Pteranodon Yummy as it uses the Memory Memory on her to give her the answer to her question…

Part 2 –  Kamen Rider OOO: Nobunaga’s Desire

At the Kougami Foundation, Kousei Kougami talks of the most avaricious man in Japan, Oda Nobunaga, whose final resting place was found. With Doctor Maki overseeing the process, Kougami commissions the creation of a Cell Medal homunculus based on Nobunaga himself.

Part 3 –  Movie War Core

Having obtained the most intense Kamen Rider battles in the Memory Memory, the male Pteranodon Yummy is caught off guard when the black Core Medals appear and combine with the Gaia Memory into the giant Kamen Rider Core, much to Akiko’s horror as Eiji saves her. As Eiji assures Akiko that her father had his reasons for being a Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Core begins to destroy the area as Kamen Riders OOO and Double team up to fight the enemy. However, Kamen Rider Core proves too powerful and the two go underground to destroy the Gaia Memory’s source of power to even the odds.

Kamen Rider W Forever – A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate 3D

So, here’s a fun bonus release for you if you have a 3D display! Thanks to evanmisha, who provided me with the 3D double feature BD (which also included the 3D Goseiger movie, which I may encode as well), we’ve now got the 3D version of A to Z.

 

Some things to note for this release: Because there are a ton of different 3D encoding options out there, I’ve tried to stick to what seemed to be the most common standards. As such, this is a half-resolution side-by-side encode, and in order to try and retain a little extra detail, I’ve kept it at 1080p rather than 720p like the rest of W. This caused the file size to get somewhat large, but I think it was worth it.

 

I’ve included two subtitle tracks, one “dual stream” that doubles the subs so that they are merged together when displayed, and a “single stream” standard track in case your player renders the subs differently. In most cases, the dual stream subs will be what you want to use. Playback has been tested with MPC-HC’s latest release, so I can’t speak of how it will play back in other players.

Kamen Rider W Wrap Up

It’s done! Sort of!

 

Now that we’ve finished the last of the W episodes, it’s time to talk about what is next. Obviously, W isn’t quite complete, so there are still three more movies immediately considered to be part of W’s run. Those are, in rough timeline order, Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider OOO & W feat. Skull: Movie War Core, Kamen Rider W Returns: Accel, and Kamen Rider W Returns: Eternal.

 

As far as I can recall, and I’ll have to double check this, W Returns: Eternal doesn’t directly tie into the other two in any way, meaning we can release that whenever, so that will probably be the next W release we do unless I’m wrong on the timeline. However, W Returns: Accel follows up from the events of Movie War Core, so before we release Accel, we’ll want to release Movie War Core.

 

Unlike Movie War 2010, where we released it despite not having released anything related to Decade, which partly had to do with there not being BD sources for Decade, we have BDs for Kamen Rider OOO. So, it’s time to officially announce (and it was hinted at a bit by the 2nd picture in the W Episode 47 post) that we will be continuing forward with our Kamen Rider Blu-ray encodes with OOO!

 

As you can probably guess, we’ll be using the Over-Time subs for OOO, and you can expect those releases to be similar to how we’ve handled W, with two episodes at a time, covering each two-part arc.

 

Now, I know some people have asked me on IRC about a batch release for W. We will be compiling the whole thing into a batch soon. While there are a few tweaks that I thought about making that I had missed in my check of later episodes (such as early episodes using the spelling “Nazca” rather than the correct one “Nasca”), I don’t think anything is serious enough to warrant v2s. In the future, if and when Over-Time revisits the W translations, we’ll swap the subs out then.

 

We’ll probably batch the movies together as a separate batch once all of them are done as well.

 

We also have a few more things planned to be released soon, but for now, we’ll leave it with the OOO announcement, so be sure to look for that coming very soon!

 

I want to end with a quick note thanking everyone who has supported us with these releases. I’m very much aware that our anime releases are very contentious due to my choices in filtering, so I’m grateful that people have given these releases a chance and hopefully come away satisfied. I’d also like to thank all of the crew at Over-Time (and of course, any former staff that were involved during the W-Time days) for their work on W in the first place, which enabled us to even have subs to put on these. Last, I’d like to thank the various uploaders that generously provided the BD sources, which made the whole thing possible in the first place.
