Episode 40 – 2017: Grand Climax!

Temporarily obtaining the Den-O Watch, Sougo holds the power of Grand Zi-O in his hand for only a moment before Yuuto interferes to protect the future from the tyranny of Oma Zi-O. Needing to stop Another Den-O’s rampage and the Mole Imagin, but without the DenLiner to travel back in time, Momotaros enlists the help of Geiz to travel back to 2017…

Like the previous episode, some lines have had minor tweaks to sync up with the Den-O BD encodes. There is also a revised track that removes the Gaim call during Grand Zi-O’s transformation sounds, in line with earlier episodes that removed the chant to match the Gaim subs.

With only two Watches left to collect, Sougo is on the verge of attaining the ultimate power, but when he is visited by the DenLiner’s Imagin quartet, he finds himself facing off with Sakurai Yuuto, who has witnessed Oma Zi-O’s future and intends to protect time itself!

Some lines here have been slightly rewritten to better match the Den-O BD releases.

Episode 1: Que Bom!! The Dinosaur Knights, Ryusoulger

We’re back to kick off a new season of Super Sentai! Things will be a bit different with Ryusoulger as Toei has moved to a three-box release, meaning we’ll get more episodes per box. Originally, we’d assumed that this meant boxes would be spaced four months apart, but it seems they are keeping the three-month gap, so we’ll now get approximately 16 episodes every three months instead of 12-13. However, it appears this also means that there will be a wider gap before the next season starts (likely six months). Anyway, big thanks as always to Howling_Snail for once again providing the BDs for this season! Enjoy!

In the year 2022, society has adopted a ninja way of life. Kagura Rentaro lives in this era with his sister Iroha and his friend Konjo Isamichi as he secretly protects the people as Kamen Rider Shinobi! When the mysterious Rainbow Serpent Clan dispatches an assassin to kill him and the mysterious Kamen Rider Hattari appears to unmask him, Rentaro fights to defend his sister, save his life, and protect his secret identity!

   

Time for the second of the Zi-O supplemental Rider Time miniseries with Kamen Rider Shinobi! This three-episode miniseries gives us a glimpse at the future history of Shinobi, the source of one of Woz’ Miridewatch powers seen in Zi-O!

    

These episodes feature a pair of sub tracks, with the main track being from RiderTime-Earthly’s joint release, and a second Revised track that swaps some of the terms to match Over-Time’s versions from the Zi-O episodes with Shinobi. The styling on that track also matches theirs. While normally, revised tracks take priority, in this case, RT-Earthly’s track gets top billing as they had the only full release. Like the Ryuki miniseries, the short length has sent this right to a batch, so if any v2s are needed, they will be included in the final Zi-O batch at the end of the year Enjoy!

The Time Jackers and Kamen Riders form an uneasy alliance, but if they’re going to beat Ginga, they’ll need Yuko’s help! But can she be persuaded? And what does Geiz manage to learn when he travels back to observe the murder Yuko insists he is innocent of?

That’ll do it for Zi-O Box 3! We’ll have the Kamen Rider Shinobi miniseries in a couple of weeks and then we’ll be back with the final Zi-O box in December!

Kamen Rider Zi-O Episode 34

Episode 34 – 2019: The Heisei Oni and The Reiwa Oni

Kyousuke, who actually uses the powers of Kamen Rider Kyoki and not Hibiki, is unable to stop his rampaging former apprentice and is admonished by Todoroki, who warns him that if he cannot stop his apprentice, Takeshi will send an Oni Hunter to deal with it themselves. While Woz struggles with celebrating Sougo’s birthday, the others meet with Todoroki to understand Kyousuke better before they are pulled back into battle. But can the power of Hibiki really be harnessed when there seems to be no successor?
