Kamen Rider W Forever – A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate 3D
So, here’s a fun bonus release for you if you have a 3D display! Thanks to evanmisha, who provided me with the 3D double feature BD (which also included the 3D Goseiger movie, which I may encode as well), we’ve now got the 3D version of A to Z.
Some things to note for this release: Because there are a ton of different 3D encoding options out there, I’ve tried to stick to what seemed to be the most common standards. As such, this is a half-resolution side-by-side encode, and in order to try and retain a little extra detail, I’ve kept it at 1080p rather than 720p like the rest of W. This caused the file size to get somewhat large, but I think it was worth it.
I’ve included two subtitle tracks, one “dual stream” that doubles the subs so that they are merged together when displayed, and a “single stream” standard track in case your player renders the subs differently. In most cases, the dual stream subs will be what you want to use. Playback has been tested with MPC-HC’s latest release, so I can’t speak of how it will play back in other players.

I actually ended up buying a 3D LCD for this, although I’d been considering one for some time. Doing this just made me pull the trigger.

Yeah, I’m looking forward to doing the OOO movie too, especially since I probably won’t be encoding the non-3D version since I remembered O-T used the BD source for their encode, so there’s not much point in me doing it. Doing it in 3D still gives me a way to do it (plus the Gokaiger movie as well, and I loves me some Gokaiger).
