Special Ops Sentai Go-Busters Episode 1

Mission 1: Special Ops Sentai, Assemble!

In the year 2012 of the Anno Novi era, the world is powered by the powerful energy source ‘Enetron’. The evil group Vagras are determined to steal this energy to attack humanity, but standing in their way are the Special Ops Sentai Go-Busters! Partnered with intelligent robots known as Buddyroids and backed up by the Energy Management Center, it’s up to these young men and women to save humanity from the evil Messiah!

It’s morphin’ time! Continuing our reverse-order efforts with Super Sentai, it’s on to Go-Busters at last! Due to popular demand, we’re including both the Over-Time subs and the Free Joker variants. I’ve made a few adjustments to the Over-Time track (such as changing “Cell” to Sentai to better match the overall franchise as releases have gone on) and both tracks have some styling tweaks, including updating the main font from Calibri. Any major changes will get discussed when they happen, but I don’t expect anything too drastic outside of a few known tweaks everyone will expect to be made. 720p only here as this was the final HD era Sentai before the switch to 1080p cameras. Anyway, enjoy! Busters, ready… go!

Woo! Thanks. Having options is always nice.

  2. I’m really curious as to why Vaglass was kept as ‘Vagras’ for the scrubs? I know that the ‘official’ romanization isn’t always the best – such as Gekiranger’s ‘Mere’ v.s. ‘Mele’, but here I always thought the official spelling of ‘Vaglass’ looks nicer in English than ‘Vagras’. It’s no biggie, I’ll probs just bust out Aegisub and change it myself at some point, but I’m just curious of the reasoning behind it.

    1. To be honest, I was up in the air down to the last moments before I locked down making my upload patch for it as to whether I wanted to change it or not. I ended up keeping Vagras because I felt like Vaglass doesn’t roll off the tongue quite as smoothly. Plus, with all the other fixes the Free Joker subs had implemented, that wasn’t changed, so that was a factor in my thinking too. I’ll probably second guess not changing it for a while though. Just one of those things I guess.
